H2I Accelerator is launching "HEAR FROM THE NEXT GENERATION OF ENTREPRENEURS"

Updated: May 15

urBIZassist is honoured to be participating in the judging of the amazing H2I Accelerator HEAR FROM THE NEXT GENERATION OF ENTREPRENEURS' event during the Pitch Competition on March 26, 3-5pm. The event is open to all—so please feel free to participate and share to your networks.

Health Innovation Hub (H2i) is a campus-linked accelerator housed at the Temerty Faculty of Medicine. H2i supports early-stage entrepreneurs with the translation and commercialization of ideas into problem-solving designs on health matters. In 2022-23 alone, H2i supported 210 ventures, with its community of 130 mentors and 110+ industry partners. It is focused and designed to build and grow health-related viable business ideas, early-startups and scale-up accelerator programs

It was established to create a culture and infrastructure that aligns, connects, serves and facilitates student driven translation of discoveries and ideas into problem-solving designs that impact positively on health matters.

If you have not gone through the process of pitching, check it out to see tremendous examples of young PhDs pitching their ideas to get funded.

With FemSTEM’s mandate to inspire, engage, and celebrate women entrepreneurs, this final event spotlights and accelerates the work of the next generation of women entrepreneurs.

This year’s finalists are: Creative Medical Solutions, Epileplon NeuroSolutions, ImaginAble Solutions, NorthMiRs Inc, SilicoLabs, and U CORP.

This year, we welcome Christine Allen, Fadwa Sahly, Liz Munro and Michaela Shaw as our panel of expert judges, and Robyn Blumberg, Partner at Cassels, to present the awards.
